For the question about the correctness of the /usr/sbin/hplj1000
firmware upload script of foo2zjs. There is nothing wrong with it. The
device nodes /dev/usb/lpX and /dev/usblpX are created by other UDEV
rules (as they are created for every USB printer) anyway. So the script
is OK.
Be careful not to install the firmware twice (once following the
instructions of the foo2zjs driver and second, running hp-setup or hp-
plugin). Then 2 UDEV scripts try to upload the firmware concurrently and
the printer crashes.
