Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: notify-osd

I use notifications for hilighted messages in IRC. When I receive
several in quick succession, notification-daemon stacks them up
vertically. This is good - I am promptly notified of all relevant
events.

notify-osd displays them in series, only showing the next after the
previous one times out. This is bad - I don't get notified promptly of
all events, and a backlog builds up.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
Package: notify-osd 0.8-0ubuntu3
ProcEnviron:
 LC_COLLATE=C
 PATH=(custom, user)
 LANG=en_GB.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: notify-osd
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-8-generic x86_64
