Sorry, I didnt reply sooner, I installed suse 10.2 on that system a few weeks back (and the bug was on a kubuntu install which continued to give me problems with apt-get/ db lock issues thats why I switched), but the ubuntu on my laptop is running quite well (probably better than my suse). Unfortunately, I dont have any log files to provide you. Payam.
