Binary package hint: notify-osd
Previously, the notifications of updates being available, or a system
reboot being required, were persistent until clicked upon. This is good,
because they contain a fairly non-trivial amount of text, which may take
the user a while to read. notify-osd's replacements disappear on a
timer, sometimes before I've finished reading them.
