Well, yeah, in the grander sense, an entire bonding solution would be nice and ... > ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) > Importance: Undecided => Wishlist Yes, in that context, this is a wishlist item. But what I have attached is a patch that actually allows one to configure bonding externally to NetworkManager and allows the wireless network selector in NM to work and not interfere with the bonding. My proposal is to landing this patch as it does not interfere with the otherwise usual use-cases for NM and provides additional functionality to those who want to do a bit more work and have a nice bonding solution working. In that regard, this particular ticket I don't see this ticket as the wishlist item that you have made it but instead a request to land the specific patch that I have attached. -- please add bonding support - bond (i.e. wired and wireless) interfaces together for redundancy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/328665 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
