Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Shortly after switching users (i.e. somewhere between 5 seconds to a
minute) after switching users the system locks solid. Display is still
visible but nothing works, mouse doesn't move numlock doesn't change,
etc. First display is accelerated GL fancyness, but the second one
doesn't get any acceleration. Symptoms seem like the first display
leaving the graphics card in an inappropriate state, or touching it
later on hence associating the bug with the driver.
I've had a good search through similar reports but failed to find
anything the same. Lots similar with binary video drivers, but this is
using the "latest" intel driver so I'd expect it to be OK.
Thanks!
Sam
