Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon
On Jaunty I am having a problem where the display settings configured
with gnome-display-properties and saved to ~/.config/monitors.xml are
not being applied by gnome-settings-daemon. This results in dual head
reverting to mirrored mode after logging out and back in. The config
file monitors.xml appears to be correct and g-s-d is not crashing.
