Well, at least i think it is usplash that is causing it.
After starting KDE in Kubuntu 6.10, Black color in the wallpaper and
kicker looks like I'm using Windows Safe Mode :)
This doesn't happen if i pass a kernel option like vga=791 but that
makes my tty1-6 unusable, Monitor just says "No signal" when switching.
The colors usually correct themself after a while and i can also fix
them by changing resolution or swithing ttys.
Display Device is x850XT using FGLRX 8.32.5
