Binary package hint: network-manager
since latest 2.6.28 kernels network-manager doesnt work for forcedeth;
evaluation showed that the problem is that now IFF_LOWER_UP is used to
indicate that wired devices have a carrier.
We are still investigating where the kernel is moving so we dont end up
hacking on every new kernel version.
