Public bug reported:
This report amounts to two questions:
1) A while ago, I recall there was effort made to ensure only one
application per task, so why are there two remote desktop applications
when only one is necessary?
2) Why has VNC support in tsclient been disabled when it is probably the
better client for VNC? (more mature, more featured etc).
tsclient just feels more professional, and should be the only remote
desktop application installed by default. vinegre doesn't offer anything
over tsclient, while not being as complete of a solution, so this
doesn't make sense to me? I suppose an explanation is all I really
require, but some consideration of going back to just tsclient would be
prefered, Ubuntu never used to install a seperate VNC GUI by default,
why start now just because Gnome accepted it? Ubuntu doesn't install
epiphany or empathy just because Gnome accepted them, this decision
seems poor to me.
