Public bug reported:

Hi,

I'm having the same problem with all linux derivates so far... ophcrack,
knoppix, ubuntu(7.10, 8.04, 8.10).

While booting/instaling the system freezes with capslock blinking when
trying to load hardware.

Booting is no problem with noapic or nolapic, although with nolapic the
network doesn't work.

When ubuntu (7.10, 8.04, 8.10) runs, there are random (no specific
applications) lockups with capslock blinking, showing no reaction to any
key.

I tryied linux kernel 2.6.27-7/-9/-11/-12-generic and 2.6.25-2-386,
always the same problem(s)

My computer: Acer Aspire 5610, latest BIOS v3.60, Intel Centrino Duo
Core T2050 @ 1,6 GHz, Intel 945PM/GM express-chipset, intel PRO/wireless
3945ABG Wi-Fi CERTIFIED, nVidia Geforce Go 7300, HD 120 GB SATA.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
