Binary package hint: evolution-indicator
currently the evolution indicator constantly shows a little mail
envelope on the panel. it should show this icon only if there is
actually unread mail (like the old email notification icon does in the
systray) and not waste my panel space permanently for no use. this bug
goes hand in hand with Bug #332466, proper usability would be to not
show an icon if all mail is read (or no unread mail is available,
however you want to formulate that) and to bring up evo directly with a
click on the envelope icon. all other implementations are simple
duplications of the already available evolution entry in the tasklist.
