Attached the debdiff, using patch from http://aur.archlinux.org/packages /vlc-embeddedvideo/vlc-embeddedvideo/embeddedvideo.patch
Can someone test this vlc in my PPA: https://launchpad.net/~medigeek/+archive/ppa http://ppa.launchpad.net/medigeek/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/v/vlc/ I've tested it locally and it embeds the video in vlc just fine.
