Can you suggest a way of capturing them? I could certainly put the CD in the machine and boot from it, but the I/O errors are only visible for a second or so during startup and shutdown - the bootsplash obscures them otherwise.
Is there a way I can switch to a console during the bootup process and pause it? Or would they be in some system log I can view once I've booted up? I would experiment, but due the I/O errors the process of booting from the CD takes a very long time. If you can suggest anything first I'd be grateful. -- I/O errors with Optiarc BD ROM BC-5500A https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/327978 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
