I think the question is, should a feature request be considered a
regression. I certainly think it is a regression *to you*, but as you
stated in your original report, this is a situation were there will be
many opinions as to what is "right". Brainstorm is probably the best
place to show the developers that the "regression" should be....well....
regressed.
A 'regression' is usually reserved for unintended issues caused by
development, whereas this was a conscious decision to change behavior,
so Brainstorm is probably the best way to get this changed.
