No, it was not an issue for me when I submitted, as the bug also includes the underlaying reason for the bug and my resolution.
This bug is about the Hardy -> Intrepid upgrade, which is still the latest release to my knowledge. I was able to rescue my broken system, but other users might not be, hence the submitted bug. You can close the bug for all I care, but I think that an unbootable system after the upgrade is a severe bug. regards, B.
