i put ubuntu on my new acer aspire one (huray) and loaded it up
the ethernet worked perfectly until i updated it on the 22/02/09 (22 feb 09)
if it matters, it was between 13:30 and 16:00 pm
my ubuntu version is "intrepid ibex 8.10"
i have tried turning off the modem, unplugging the ethernet cable,
plugging it back in, starting up my computer with and without the
ethernet cable in.
it just says the internet connection has been disconnected after a few
minutes
