Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. If you have enough time, could you tell us if you have the same problem
using another desktop environment (gnome/ubuntu if you're using kde/kubuntu and
vice versa). This could help indication whether this depends ont your desktop
environment, or is deeper (in acpi, for example).
