I believe the udev CPU usage issue is bug 332270. Please comment in that bug (and provide the requested info) if you're affected by that issue.
FYI, my system still doesn't prompt me to unlock my encrypted partition during boot after this upgrade. I'm dropped to the initramfs prompt as before the upgrade, only now after I manually unlock the partition udev starts freaking out until I kill it.
