Sorry guys, problem is solved. I don't know how, but the file suffix on
the CentOS installation was changed to *.tgz. With this suffix, file-
roller was able to unpack the file. With *.tgtz, file-roller reports an
unsupported file type even if it's the same file. This is the same
behaviour as in Ubuntu, except the difference that no information about
the reason is reported in Ubuntu.
