Dear sir, Did it used to work before in Dapper or Edgy? Do you have the driver compiled and installed? If yes, what kind of driver? Or maybe, you use the driver included in kernel? Zydas 1211 may have some troubles when it's used with SMP enabled kernels, like this generic kernel you use, so please, if it's possible, try to install i386 version of the kernel and post results.
