Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. There seems to be
something wrong with your installation as you are likely missing python-
gobject which is required by update-manager. Please reinstall that
package using 'sudo apt-get install python-gobject' in a terminal and
report back as to whether or not that resolves your issue. Thanks in
