According to the Installation Instructions[0], you should remove any gstreamer0.10-fluendo* packages before installing the gstreamer0.10 -fluendo-plugins package:
'Note: If you have previously installed free Fluendo codecs (you can tell if this is the case by going to System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager and searching for packages starting with “gstreamer0.10-fluendo”) you may need to remove these packages before installing [from] the Debian patch store. You can do this by going to System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager and searching for and removing any packages starting with “gstreamer0.10-fluendo”.' In other words, I'd first remove the 'gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mpegdemux' package (and any other conflicting gstreamer packages), then install the 'gstreamer0.10-fluendo-plugins' package. I hope that helps; I don't know if you still have this problem(It has been a while), but I thought I'd send a reply in case you or anyone else still had this problem.
