I got the same effect just now in Jaunty, when new language packs
landed. I always get "4 new addons were installed" at starting firefox.
I think the real cause for this is gnome-session just killing everything
on logout, instead of properly closing applications (which is also why
firefox always tells me that it was ended unexpectedly).
