Looking at http://packages.ubuntu.com/dapper/gnome/uim-applet-gnome it
becomes clear that the dapper version of uim-gnome-applet did not depend
on uim-gtk2.0 but only on uim-common which then only recommended uim-
gtk2.0. This confirms this bug report.
http://packages.ubuntu.com/edgy/gnome/uim-applet-gnome confirms it has
been fixed in edgy.
@MOTU: Can be fixed easily by adding dependency in dapper as well and
recompiling.
