Thanks Beige, I will leave the Bug in "Incomplete" for now, hoping to get a little more information from Dave about whether he could reproduce the problem. Generally this seems to be a BIOS issue, which the kernel cannot do much about. If there is no more information this bug would get closed after a while (just as a heads up).
