People...if you can't disable Num Lock, here is how it worked for me...
While having Guake closed, you open a Terminal and type ''onboard'' without the 
quotes. This will open the onboard keyboard provided for accesibility...
Here if you click on the right side of the windows where two colored rectangles 
are, one of those will show you an extra keyboard which has a NumLock button 
among others. Now here you open Guake and go to the HotKey preferences to set 
them. Here by toggling the NumLock button (light gray for me), then changing 
the hotkey worked fine =)...
