Hello, I've noticed the same problem with my fully updated ubuntu 8.04 with Totem Movie Player 2.22.1 (Movie Player using GStreamer 0.10.18 and GNOME). I tried gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=file:///path/to/video
The video plays slow then as well. The following text is displayed on the console: Setting pipeline to PAUSED ... Pipeline is PREROLLING ... Pipeline is PREROLLED ... Setting pipeline to PLAYING ... New clock: GstAudioSinkClock ERROR: from element /playbin0/vbin/videosink/videosink-actual-sink-xvimage: Output window was closed Additional debug info: xvimagesink.c(1223): gst_xvimagesink_handle_xevents (): /playbin0/vbin/videosink/videosink-actual-sink-xvimage Execution ended after 36966049371 ns. Setting pipeline to PAUSED ... Setting pipeline to READY ... Setting pipeline to NULL ... FREEING pipeline ... I tried mpg and wmv files. Both have the same result. Terrible slow playback. (playback does seem to work properly in all other aspects except for the speed that is) If other info is needed: let me know. I'll try to provide it. -- Video plays really slow https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/243229 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
