Public bug reported:

While trying various password storage/management programs I came across
gringotts. However, upon starting gringotts I receive the following
error message:

=================================
(process:16504): gringotts-CRITICAL **: Increase the memory locking limit to at
least 51200000 bytes. Current limit: 32768 bytes.
See /usr/share/doc/gringotts/README for
directions or alternatively make gringotts
non-SUID-root
=================================
The program does not start at all. I have no idea how to increase the memory
locking limit, nor do I have an idea of its implications.

Ubuntu release is intrepid
"uname -m" reports x86_64
gringotts version: 1.2.10~pre1-2

** Affects: gringotts (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
