system: Ubuntu 8.10; evolution 2.24.3-0ubuntu1
I can print an email to file (.ps / .pdf) but cannot print to any of the print
queues listed.
These queues are listed in CUPS and Gnome printing utility - I can print a test
page from either of these applications.
I can print from all other applications - openoffice, gedit, opera, QGIS, gimp
.....
I can print calendar sheets, tasks, contacts from evolution but not emails.
When I select print - the print icon flashes up in the system tray for a
brief moment (unlike when printing actually happens - it stays for
longer) also if I type 'lpq -Pa4' in a terminal (immediately after
selecting to print in evolution) there is no record of this print job =>
a4 is ready, no entries.
Look forward to any advice that can be given
