@Thomas I know of this bug, I had these problems (under windows xp) immediately after I got this notebook. After I applied said update (it was a firmware update of the NIC, which I did myself with guidance from the tech support), these problems were gone under windows. There were also no problems under OpenSuse from 9.3 to 10.1 and under Ubuntu gutsy and hardy. This is new after upgrading to intrepid, and it does not happen with intrepid when running it with an old gutsy or hardy kernel.
