Binary package hint: nautilus
we use an external hard disk for backups. sometime I copied files
through our internal network directly on this hard disk by using
nautilus 2.24.1 with ubuntu 8.10. First I have to enter my password. Now
after this when I try to write a file on the hard disk I get the message
permission denied, you have not the right to write. when I make a right
click on the symbol and open the properties window and open the tag
Zugriffsrechte (rights of access) I find a message, that it is not
possible to find out the rights (Zugriffsrechte konnten nicht ermittelt
werden). What is the reason for this message. Why is it not possible to
find out and display (and change) the rights?
