I have the same problem on 64-bit Intrepid, to which I recently upgraded from 8.04 because of hibernation problems.
After having hibernation problems with Ubuntu 8.04 which suddenly stopped working for unknown reasons (to me, at least) I decided to finally upgrade to 8.10. In 8.04 hibernate takes "forever" and will sometimes work but most often doesn't. Now, with 8.10 hibernate seems to be working except for the wifi problems after resume. I am using an MSI S270 (1013) laptop, running 64-bit Intrepid with RT2500 wireless chipset. My problem is that after resuming from hibernate, the wireless is no longer recognized by the system so it doesn't work. $ifconfig will only list my ethernet port but not my wireless. -- RT2500 wifi doesn't return from suspend/hibernate on Dell Latitude D600 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152538 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
