Ubuntu Heron - that worked, most of the time in the last six months. None of the previous six months without a custom patched kernel.
Ubuntu Jaunty - linux 2.26.28-8-generic - 100% fail. stupid Dell chipset (Inspiron 1525) - there's also been continuous trouble with the Intel 965 graphics chipset. Even with a working environment, somewhere between 5 and 30% of the time it fails to connect to a WPA encrypted network. After suspend/resume that's closer to 80% fail - even in a "working" environment. Sorry. Not a fix. nmaarse wrote: > I'm using ndiswrapper(install it via apt-get) and then select your > windows-xp driver for this broadcom B43 wireless. > > With the linux driver i ran into a lot of trouble, but using ndiswrapper it > have been working stable for 1/2 a year now, > > good luck! > > 2009/2/27 Teunis Peters <[email protected]> > > >> I'm seeing the same problem on ubuntu jaunty - fresh update. heron >> worked most of the time, except involving power management (which didn't >> work - and regularly froze/crash/halted).
