Binary package hint: pidgin
I told pidgin not to store my password. Apparently this option only
effects whether pidgin permanently stores the file on disk. I would
like this option (or another option) to prevent pidgin from storing my
password in memory as well.
My corporate jabber server is password protected, and uses our one-time-
password (OTP) tokens for access. When I am disconnected from the
server for any reason, pidgin tries to reconnect automatically using the
out of date OTP number. It does this repeatedly.
This results in my OTP being locked out of the system, and am unable to
log in to ANY of the machines at work. Extremely frustrating.
I need an option to force pidgin to ALWAYS prompt me for my password.
