Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: alacarte
1. Right click on on the gnome-menu
2. Select "Edit Menus"
3. Click on Applications and from the list in the right try to check any of the
elements that are unchecked. Notice that after less than a second the element
unchecks itself.
This behavior is present only in the Applications menu.
