Binary package hint: network-manager-pptp
My employer's windows vpn server, from time to time, times out my
connection after a period of being idle. When that happens pppd
disconnects but network-manager nor nm-applet reflect this change. As
far as they are concerned the connection is still alive. I am using
Ubuntu 6.10.
The following is all that I find in my /var/log/messages file when this
happens:
