Interesting... I think this reflects that the debconf key xserver-xorg/config/device/driver: has the value "vesa". You can verify that by running `sudo debconf-show xserver-xorg`. I don't know why that value has been set, though. Possibly, the installation logs may tell something about what was going on. Could you please attach the following: - output of `sudo debconf-show xserver-xorg` - /var/log/installer/casper.log - /var/log/installer/syslog (the files are only readable through sudo - you may want to check them for information that should not be public, but at least mine look fine) Finally, Lucian and Silviu, are you two talking about the same computer? If not, could you, Silviu, also upload the output of `lspci -vvnn` and /var/log/Xorg.0.log? -- [i945] intel video card automatically detected on live cd, but not on the installed system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/335512 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
