Public bug reported:

Using kernel 2.6.24-23-rt installed via UbuntuStudio, my system was
experiencing frequent hard lockups/freezes: no response to numlock,
ctrl-alt-backspace, etc.

I switched to boot off kernel 2.6.24-21-rt, and the freezes disappeared.

The /var/log/messages seems to show that the following complaint is
written repeatedly before the freeze:

Feb 28 00:37:22 name dhcdbd: message_handler: message handler not found under
/com/redhat/dhcp/eth1 for sub-path eth1.dbus.get.reason
