I'm afraid I'm still seeing this bug on a fresh install of Jaunty Alpha 5
(32-bit). I'm attaching a screenshot after installing OpenMedSpel. The
problem isn't that the extension isn't working (it is). The problem is that
it's preventing the normal dictionary from working. Like I said, the extension
works correctly if you install the OO.o 3.0.1 from http://www.openoffice.org ,
meaning the both dictionaries work simultaneously. Simply uninstalling the OMS
plugin "fixes" the problem (finds regular words spelled correctly).
Please let me know if there is more information I can provide.
