I've been running Amarok 1.4.2 - 1.4.4 on Dapper, Edgy and Feisty and have not been able to reproduce this problem. I have always used the Xine engine. Does this happen on any particular files or does it happen on any number of files? It seems like we are unable to reproduce it, and therefore can not confirm your bug.
