The master boot record on the IDE disk doesn't know about Ubuntu because
that disk wasn't present when you installed Ubuntu. You may be able to
repair the problem by re-installing GRUB.

This issue isn't related to the bug you reported so I suggest that you
ask for further help on the ubuntu-users mailing list.
