Public bug reported: The following assemblies are missing .pc files:
qttest.dll (qttest-sharp.pc) qtscript.dll (qtscript-sharp.pc) qtwebkit.dll (qtwebkit-sharp.pc) qtuitools.dll (qtuitools-sharp.pc) A .pc file for qt-dotnet.dll does exist (qyoto.pc). Without these files it is nearly impossible to use these assemblies in any way reasonably compatible with other distros, etc. I think this should be considered a bug, and so I'd like to request a feature freeze exception so this can be fixed for Jaunty. Just a quick note for the future, these files were added upstream in trunk, however they won't work for Ubuntu without modification because they assume that the libraries are installed in the standard system directory. http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=929133 These files weren't added upstream to the 4.2 branch, so this should not cause any conflicts right now. ** Affects: kdebindings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Missing pkg-config (.pc) files for csharp (mono) bindings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/337102 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
