Usually if you have trouble installing something, using aptitude instead
of apt-get at the command line can help fix things. Aptitude has better
dependency handling than apt-get, which I believe synaptic and adept use
underneath.
Since it's not a problem anymore and we haven't had any confirmations,
it's probably just something on your machine. Thanks for your
contribution to Kubuntu.
