Have u checked the settings in /etc/usbmount/usbmount.conf? usbmount is the package responsible for usb automount.
/etc/udev/rules.d/62-usbmount.rules calls /usr/share/usbmount/usbmount to mount usb devices. It took me ages to find out that it will only mount ext2 and ext3 filesystem which is the default configuration. After I have added 'vfat' into FILESYSTEMS field, the automount of usb pen drive worked flawlessly. http://joekuan.wordpress.com/2009/03/03/troubleshooting-on-usbmount/ Hope this helps -- USB automount lost on hardy upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/267151 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
