There are still 2 problems with this that need to be addressed:
1)home icon and quit button are still showing up on a black border when
launcher is first started
2)when setting the gconf key /apps/window-picker-applet/show_home_title to
true, the home title is correctly shown. But after the first suspend/resume it
disappears. Perhaps the resume code is not honoring the gconf key setting?
