I'm just in the process right now of doing the re-install.

sudo apt-get --reinstall install python-xkit

This did in fact re-load Xkit correctly, and now running 'jockey-gtk'
acutally works.

I need to use driver 173, so I picked it, and it's working correctly
after a reboot, no crash.
