Hm, I'm afraid the only document that I have here that exhibits this problem is my family finances spreadsheet showing all of our income and expenses for the past two years. That's too confidential to attach to this ticket. I just opened a few other smaller .ods files and they worked quickly. My family finances .ods file is 2.61 MB in size. It was mostly used with openoffice.org v2 until very recently.
