** Description changed: Binary package hint: xsane in the last days I used xsane with an EpsonPerfection 3490 without problems. But now I get an error message after the search for device (see attachment). I also get messages: "[snapscan] Cannot open firmware file /usr/share/sane/snapscan/your-firmwarefile.bin. [snapscan] Edit the firmware file entry in snapscan.conf. what can be the reason, what can I do? + Does really nobody know what to do? And nobody knows what happened, I wish to use my scanner and I wish this does'nt happen once more.
