I tried the installation of the test-kernel v2 and nvidia 173. The screen does not get black, but the X-server does not come up properly either. It starts in low resolution mode and goes to the debug menu. I tried to install nvidia 180 then, but the problem is the same. Unfortunately, I cycled out the Xorg.log of nvidia 173 by reinstalling the original kernel. Therefore, I can provide only the dmesg for this configuration. I will not have time to redo the test before end of next week.
